Patient Experience Matters

Patient stories

Listening to patient stories is a powerful way for us to gain an understanding of the healthcare experience of patients eg. what was good, what was bad and what would make the experience more positive. It helps us to understand what is important to patients.

The Board of Directors hears a patient story every month. Staff involved in the patient's care, attend the meeting to share learning and improvements made as a result of the patient sharing their story.
