Medical Equipment Committee (MEC)
The Medical Equipment Committee (MEC) oversees all issues that relate to medical equipment in the Royal United Hospital.
It seeks to oversee purchases of all medical equipment irrespective of the funding source, in order to ensure a level of consistency for the Trust.
A capital budget is allocated annually, from which it is possible to make purchases.
In order to register a requirement, users are directed towards the MEC bids database, currently accessible through the links below. Please contact Medical Physics & Bioengineering on 4082 for advice.
There are three levels of access to the MEC database. Please click the appropriate link below:
User:
If you are a general user and want to add a bid or view bids
(in the new window, double click on user2000.mde)
Manager:
If you are a Clinical Director or General Manager
(in the new window, double click on manage2000.mde)
Group:
If you are an administrator of the database
(in the new window, double click on groupMEC2000.mde)
