We are asking all adult patients, aged 16 or over, who stay at least one night in the hospital and all patients, aged 16 or over, who attend the Emergency Department and leave from there, to tell us what they thought about their experience at the RUH. This is a national initiative called the 'Friends and Family Test' and involves a standard question being asked of NHS patients, which is: "How likely are you to recommend our ward/Emergency Department to friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment?" Having asked adult patients the same questions in all NHS hospitals, the results will be published later this year and can be compared side by side, so that patients, staff and the public can see what patients think of care in each NHS hospital and staff can make improvements to patient services at the RUH. We hope you will give us your views if you are a patient at the RUH and help us to improve our service. Council of Governors Election Results
