At the Royal United Hospital, Bath,

Around 70,000 people attend our Emergency Department each year, we have 256,000 outpatients and 32,000 receive treatment as an in-patient. Patient care and patient safety are at the heart of everything we do and recent results from a number of national healthcare surveys have shown our standards of cleanliness, survival rates and the services we offer our patients, to be very high.
