The diarrhoea and vomiting bug Norovirus is most prevalent at this time of the year. We do our best to keep Norovirus out of the hospital, as it can lead to wards being closed.

How you can help:

  • If you have diarrhoea and vomiting please do not come to the RUH to visit friends or relatives
  • Please make sure you have been free of symptoms for at least 48 hours before visiting the hospital
  • Please wash your hands and use the antibacterial gels at ward entrances when you enter and leave the wards

Thank you for your cooperation.
