Bariatric Equipment
The hospital also has a stock of Bariatric equipment, including hoists, beds, chairs and commodes.

A Bariatric hoist is stored in the Access Store of the MEL, and this can be requested in the same way as any other item of equipment.
It is important that only trained personnel use this equipment.
Other equipment
There are some other items of equipment available from the MEL:
- Cardiac monitor
- Vital signs monitor
- ECG Recorder
All these items are stored in the Access Store of the MEL for out of hours access, unless they are already on loan, in which case the porters or site
