Bed Frames
Management of bed frame maintenance within the RUH has also been taken on by the MEL. Rectification works are currently underway with a view to organising annual planned maintenance for beds, which will reduce the rate of bed breakdown.
Should you have a broken bed frame then contact the MEL on 01225 82 6446 stating the bed location, the fault and the MEMS number of the bed (this is displayed on a blue label on the foot of the bed) and we will repair or replace it as soon as possible.
Please note that the maintenance of trolleys is still undertaken by facilities.
