The Recruitment Process

Your offer of employment

If your application is successful you will be sent a conditional offer via your Trac account. We are passionate about patient safety and therefore your offer will be conditional as we need to undertake a number of employment checks which are set out in the NHS Employers employment check standards.

The following are the pre-employment checks which will be undertaken before a final offer of appointment is confirmed with you:

  1. Identity
  2. Right to work in the UK
  3. Criminal Record Check including Disclosure and Barring service (formerly Criminal Records Bureau) and/or police checks
  4. Professional registration and qualifications (where relevant to the role)
  5. Employment history and references
  6. Work health assessment
