Workforce Race Equality Standard (WRES)

The Workforce Race Equality Standard (WRES) was introduced in April 2015, after engaging and consulting key stakeholders including other NHS organisations across England. It is included in the NHS standard contract each year.

NHS Workforce Disability Equality Standard (WDES)

The Workforce Disability Equality Standard (WDES) was introduced in April 2019, after engaging and consulting key stakeholders including other NHS organisations across England. It will be part of the NHS standard contract each year. NHS Trusts are required to produce and publish their WDES data and action plans each year.
