General Enquiries:
01225 824822
As a patient, if you have a large family, please appoint a spokesperson to keep other members informed of your well-being. For more specific and detailed information the nurses will deal with the enquiry in person.
If you or your relatives would like to speak to any of our medical staff and the patient is happy for you to do so, please inform the nurse and we will arrange an appointment.
The Care Team
You will be allocated one of three consultant cardiologists on admission to the ward, who will ultimately be responsible for your care. Your care will be delivered primarily by nurses.
Other specialists such as the cardiac rehab team, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, dieticians, social workers, and diabetic nurse specialists will be involved in your care if appropriate.
Please feel free to ask your nurse to explain anything that you do not understand or is troubling you.
As part of your on going care you may be transferred directly from the cardiac ward to the other hospitals for more invasive investigations or treatments which we are unable to perform in this hospital.
