Then you could be just what the RUH cleaning department is looking for!

A clean hospital environment is essential for providing a safe healthcare environment for our patients so as a cleaner you will play a vital role in our hospital and the wellbeing of our patients.

We are looking for hard working people to join the cleaning team on a full or part time basis. There are a variety of shifts available, for example:

15 hours per week: 16:00-19:00 Monday to Friday
37.5 hours per week: 6:00-14:00 Monday to Friday
30 hours per week: 7:30-13:30 Monday to Friday

Previous experience as a cleaner is not essential but you must be able to:

  • Demonstrate a flexible approach to their workload
  • Work quickly and to deadlines
  • Show high standards in the quality of their work
  • Be able to work to Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) guidelines
  • Able to work to infection control guidelines
  • Communicate well with colleagues, patients and the public
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
