We can offer routine contraception for under 18-year-olds and complex contraception on referral from GPs for people registered within the local area (BaNES).

Emergency contraception
We can prescribe emergency contraception (EC) which could either be a pill or copper IUD. If accessing EC from us at The Riverside Clinic, you would be assessed to check which options are available for your individual situation.
EC should be sought as soon as possible after unprotected sex.
Other places you can access EC is through your GP or Pharmacies.
