About the clinics
The respiratory department provides a number of specialist services and clinics listed above. Please click on the link for further details regarding the relevant service.
You may be required to prepare for your appointment
You may require specialist breathing tests and an x-ray before seeing the doctor. You will be notified of this on your appointment letter.
We will also do weight and blood pressure checks and if you need a blood test, we will endeavour to do it before you leave the department.
Facilities
Information leaflets and magazines are available. Toilets/assisted toilets are available.
Location
The respiratory department is located on the second floor of Zone B. You can access a lift or take the stairs by walking to the double doors at the back of the hospital atrium. There are wheelchairs you can use for a £1 returnable coin.
Travel arrangements
Hospital transport is limited and only available to those who have no other means. Otherwise you need to make your own arrangements.
The Odd Down Park and Ride is available for patients from the south of Bath. Information about this is available from reception in the hospital's atrium.
