All procurement is undertaken to achieve best value for the Trust, following The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply and Public Procurement guidelines.

Procurement performance is measured nationally against criteria outlined in HSC 99/143.

Guidance for suppliers

1. Useful advice has been published to aid SME's in their bid for business:
   

   How SMEs can work effectively with the NHS - GOV.UK

2. To support our drive towards Net Zero, suppliers are encouraged to register on the Evergreen Portal to support tracking on Sustainability
3. Suppliers (exc SME's), are required to publish a Modern Slavery Statement Annually. Suppliers are encouraged to complete the Modern Slavery Assessment Tool (MSAT)
