About the Acute Stroke Unit
The Acute Stroke Unit is located in RUH Central on the ground floor and comprises:
- Acute Stroke Unit (18 beds)
- Rapid-access TIA clinic (4 days/week)
- Thrombolysis for Acute Ischaemic Stroke
- Stroke clinic (monthly)
- Close liaison with PCT stroke services
