Diagnostics: Endoscopy
Endoscopy
The Gastroenterology team comprises eleven consultants. We are ably supported by seven nurse endoscopists who share the busy endoscopic workload. We also have valuable specialist nursing expertise in inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, iron deficiency anaemia, nutrition, upper and lower GI cancer.
All the consultants see referrals across the full spectrum of Gastroenterology and there are specialist Liver Clinics. We share our new patient clinics on a rotating basis but to provide continuity, patients will be followed up under the care of the consultant they meet at their first appointment.
