Cancer Information and Support Centre and
Living With and Beyond Cancer Team
The impact of a Cancer diagnosis can have a significant impact on you, your family and friends. You may require information about practical help and support on living with Cancer, as well as about your cancer itself. Finding the right information and support is important to help you and your family understand the cancer pathway.
Our Macmillan Cancer Information and Support centre offers support to all patients their families and friends at any stage of their cancer experience.
Where appropriate the Macmillan Cancer information and Support centre can refer you to other professionals for specialist or more long term support.
The Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Centre provide an environment for privacy, which enables you to talk with one of the team, to listen and provide support with information and signposting to necessary services that are available. We can assist and liaise between yourself and your medical team as required. We offer a drop in service, therefore no need to make an appointment to see a member of the team. If you have a specific enquiry and wish to speak on a certain day then please telephone us. If it is out of hours please leave a telephone message and we will call you back on the next working day.
Access to booklets and leaflets are readily available to take away or discuss with the Cancer Information Team.
