Broadcasting from the Royal United Hospital since 1964
Bath Sound is a dedicated community radio station operated by volunteers, broadcasting 24/7 from within the grounds of the Royal United Hospital (RUH).
Our programming is designed to entertain, inform, and connect patients, staff, and anyone with an interest in the vibrant city of Bath.
From music and culture to interviews, news, and local updates, there's something for everyone. Everyone can listen online – either via the Bath Radio website or radio apps such as TuneIn – or through the communications device adjacent to most of the RUH beds. And it's free!
How to listen
You can tune in anytime:

- On your smart speaker – just say: "Play Bath Sound Radio"
- At the RUH, through the bedside communication system on Channel 1 – completely free of charge
