Swimming Pool

The open air community swimming pool at the RUH will be open from Monday 5 May until the end of September.

Session types and prices

Individual lane swimming sessions (30 minutes): Open to confident, independent swimmers aged 11+. These are aimed at people looking to swim lengths. Cost: £5.50pp (£4.50pp RUH staff)

Lane-free general swimming session (60 minutes): More relaxed sessions open to anyone aged 6 months or older. Cost: £4pp (£3 RUH staff)

Advance booking is essential, as you cannot pay on arrival. You can book up to two weeks in advance (three weeks for RUH staff).

 

About the pool

The pool is 20 metres long and heated to 26 degrees. Changing facilities are available.

We encourage pool users to arrive by foot, bike or public transport where possible. Parking is available in the RUH public car parks, and is chargeable.
