Step two: Pre-employment checks

In order to ensure that our patients are cared for safely, we need to complete pre-employment checks before you are able to start in your role.

As all NHS Trusts check to the same standard so if you are already a NHS employee, we have a number of ways to 'passport' your some of your existing employment checks. Unfortunately we can't do it for all checks.

We'll go through each check in turn with what you need to do next:
