Fibromyalgia (Suspected)
The referral pathway for patients with a suspected diagnosis of fibromyalgia to the RNHRD Rheumatology at the RUH has changed. We no longer have clinic capacity to see all patients with suspected fibromyalgia or to confirm diagnosis.
Current expert consensus is that the diagnosis of fibromyalgia can be made in primary care. Patients can subsequently be referred for the Fibromyalgia Self-management course (see below).

Metabolic Bone Disease - referral form
As an alternative to referring a patient to the osteoporosis clinic, it is possible to refer patients just for a bone mineral density measurement, if appropriate via ICE.
