Join the RUH for its Annual General Meeting 2025
The Royal United Hospitals (RUH) Bath NHS Foundation Trust is looking forward to welcoming its community to reflect on its recent activities, challenges and achievements at its Annual General Meeting (AGM), combined with its Annual Members Meeting.
This year’s event, which is open to all, will take place online on Thursday 25 September from 3:30pm.
Lasting for approximately 90 minutes, the AGM will be an opportunity to hear about the hospital’s key developments from the previous financial year and find out how it is progressing towards the goals set out in its ‘You Matter’ strategy.
The event will also look at the Trust’s current position and priorities for 2025–6, and will share more information about the formation of the BSW Hospitals Group between the RUH, Great Western Hospitals in Swindon and Salisbury Foundation Trust, which was formalised at the end of 2024.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions of the RUH’s Board of Directors and Council of Governors.
The RUH’s Interim Chair Liam Coleman said: "Each year, we thoroughly enjoy this opportunity to share more about the RUH’s last financial year, and to look forward to our opportunities and goals for the coming months.
“Equally importantly, it’s an opportunity for you to share your views on the service and to ask questions from our Board of Directors.
“As the RUH’s new Trust Chair, I look forward to welcoming our community to this virtual event and guiding you through it.
“Your voices and experiences are really valuable, and we encourage anyone with an interest in the NHS and what is happening at the RUH to come along. Everyone is welcome, from long-term attendees to those joining us for the first time, and we look forward to seeing you there.”
Attendees can join on the day using this Teams link. This will also be made available on the RUH’s AGM webpage: https://www.ruh.nhs.uk/about/agm/
Those seeking more information on the event or wishing to submit a question in advance should contact the Membership Office on RUHmembership@nhs.net or on 01225 821262.
