RUH seeks candidates for Non-Executive Director role
A new Non-Executive Director is being sought to join the Board of Directors at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust.
NonâExecutive Directors play a crucial role in bringing an independent perspective to the boardroom, in addition to any specific knowledge and skills they may have.
The role has a key focus on patient safety and care and the postholder will need to use their professional skills and perspective to support the governance and strategic development of the Trust.
Alison Ryan, Trust Chair, said: "We're seeking a Non-Executive Director with a professional background or qualification in financial management, and experience of risk management.
"We're particularly keen to hear from candidates who have experience of working in a regulated environment, are from a BAME background or who have a disability. Ideally, they will live within the area served by the hospital.
"The Trust has pulled together brilliantly over recent months to deal head-on with the unprecedented challenges brought by COVID-19. Looking to the future, we continue to transform our site and further improve the services we provide to our patients."
