Smartcards are only issued to staff who need it for their role for specific tasks on some IT systems. Your manager will let the Recruitment department know if you need one.
If you do you will be able to pick up your smartcard from the Recruitment department based in Bath & Wessex house (E12) on your first day which is open Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm.
Appointments to pick up cards outside of these times can usually be accommodated with advance notice.
If you are starting at the RUH from 17 July 2023 onwards you will be able to collect your Smartcard on your first day at your Welcome to the RUH day.
