Nikie Catchpool

Consultant Occupational Therapist, Macmillan Professional and Visiting Lecturer University of the West of England (UWE) Bristol. Experienced in developing services for people with enduring fatigue which prevents engagement in meaningful daily activities.

Has jointly designed, developed and led the service over the last twenty years with Anne Johnson, expanding this from a local to a national service. Has a special interest in employment and work related needs and has advised on these issues at a national level for the Department of Health.

Holds a Masters Degree in Applied Social Research conducting research into the role of the Occupational Therapist and the employers perspective of employing people with ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

Associate Professor Dr Anne Johnson

Consultant Occupational Therapist, Macmillan Professional, Executive Coach and Mentor and invitedAmbassador for the Personalised Care Institute. Associate Professor in Patient and Public Involvement in Higher Education, College of Health, Science and Society, UWE. Skilled in joining academic expertise to clinical practise, service design and redesign, leadership and innovation in practice and in establishing and managing inter professional teams.

Effective influencer across organisations. Knowledge and skills in long term conditions management including chronic fatigue ME/CFS and cancer fatigue and rehabilitation. Holds a MA in Applied Social Research and a PhD focusing on the experiences of men living with chronic fatigue. Invited member of Macmillan Cancer Support Allied Health Professionals Expert Advisory Group.
