Cancelling your appointment

If you are not able to keep your appointment or wish to change it to a more convenient time, it is vital to tell us as soon as possible so that your appointment can be given to another patient.

First Appointments:
Call the Appointments Centre on 01225 821821, or write to the Appointments Centre, Royal United Hospital, Combe Park, Bath, BA1 3NG.

Follow up Appointments:
If you need to cancel a follow up appointment, you have to contact the relevant clinic area direct, as the apppointment centre only deal with new outpatitient appointments


Cancellations by us

We try to keep every appointment we make, but medical emergencies and unforeseen circumstances mean that we sometimes have to cancel appointments.

If this happens, we are sorry for any inconvenience caused and will arrange a new appointment for you as soon as possible.

You will normally be informed of the new appointment date by post.

Please note:
The hospitals cannot reimburse you for any costs incurred as a result of a cancellation.
