It is quite natural that your family will be concerned about you during your stay, but it would be very much appreciated if one person could be nominated to co-ordinate enquiries. This allows staff more time to spend with patients.
The Care Team
The Ward Team is headed by Sister Allison Falder. The nurses work in two teams; the red team and blue team. The nurse caring for you will introduce him/herself to you at the beginning of each shift. There is a photo board at the entrance to the ward with all team members displayed on it.
Other members of the team such as pharmacists, specialist nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, dieticians, social workers etc., visit the ward daily. For more details, please ask your nurse.
