Public Views Sought on Gynaecology Cancer Review


Bath and North East Somerset Primary Care Trust (BaNES PCT) is seeking your views as part of a review on gynaecological cancer services within the local area (Bristol, North Somerset, Somerset, South Gloucestershire and Wiltshire).

The review is focussing on how surgical care for specialist and rare gynaecological cancers can best be provided. The review aims to identify the best way to treat women with gynaecological cancer in the future so that services are provided locally where possible and in specialist centres where necessary.

Are you a current patient, a previous patient or a carer with experience of gynaecological cancer care? If so, we would like to hear your views on the following key areas:

  1. What is most important to patients and carers in receiving a quality service?
  2. Do you have any concerns about the service now?
  3. What do you think would improve the patient and carer experience?
  4. What should we be aiming for in developing our local gynaecological cancer services?
