About Us What to Expect What we Provide Young People

HIV Outpatient Care

We provide outpatient care for people who are HIV positive.
If you would like to transfer your care to our clinic, or are newly diagnosed and need advice please phone our health advisers on 01225 831593

The clinic runs once a week and is staffed by two consultants, one male and one female. We also have an experienced nurse who can offer testing for sexually transmitted infections and perform smears for women.

Our health adviser can give support and advice and we also have a health care assistant who takes blood and performs routine blood pressure, weight and urinalysis. The clinic has a dedicated pharmacist who can give advice and adherence support for those taking or about to start antiretroviral treatment.

The Eddystone Trust is an independent organisation providing information and support for anyone affected by HIV across the South West. A support worker is present at clinic every week.

For more information please contact our health advisers or visit The Eddystone Trust website at www.eddystone.org.uk
