Day Surgery Unit is located on the first floor above the main reception (lift available).

Phil March is the unit manager and she can be contacted on 01225 824411 between 8.00am and 8.00pm Monday to Friday if you have any questions.

Our team is made up of:

Administration:

Our administration staff ensures that your notes are available.

On the ward:

• A ward manager with 12 years experience of day surgery.
• A team of adult and children’s trained nurses- you will be allocated one nurse to look after you during your stay
• Trained Health Care assistants – they assist the nurses.

Theatres

• Qualified Nurses trained in working in an operating theatre and recovery
• Operating Department Practitioners who have undergone a 2 year training to work in theatres
• Trained Health Care assistants.
