Overview

Uro-gynaecology is a service that combines bladder (Urology) with vaginal and uterine surgery (gynaecological). It is a specialist service for women with prolapse or incontinence.

We offer investigation and treatment to women with bladder problems, vaginal prolapse and bowel control problems.  Although the majority of our patients come from the Bath area, we will see women from anywhere in the UK.

  • Consultant led clinics to assess prolapse and incontinence.
  • Urodynamic Studies
  • Anorectal physiology studies and endoanal ultrasound
  • Voiding Studies
  • Perineal ultrasound
  • Ambulatory Urodynamics
  • Perineal Trauma Clinic
  • Pelvic Floor Clinic
  • Out-patient Cystoscopy

  • Surgical treatment of urinary incontinence and vaginal prolapse, including 'keyhole' surgery

How can I access this service?

To be seen in this department you must be referred by your GP, Community Continence Nurse Specialist, or another consultant.  The NHS will not Allow us to accept self referrals.
