(a.k.a HLA-B*27 DNA Low Resolution Typing, HLA-B27)

Special instructions
1 x EDTA sample required.

Stable for one day at 15 to 25oC without any loss in DNA yield, or up to 1 week with only moderate loss in yield.

Storage at 2 to 8 degrees Celsius for up to 7 days is recommended to reduce loss in yield.

Samples found to positive for B27 using flow cytometry are confirmed using PCR. Time limit for add on = 2 days. Interfering substances = none known.

Minimum retesting interval:
Test should not be repeated within 1353 days
