Special instructions
A minimum of 4 citrate samples and one SST sample required. Please ensure each citrate sample is filled to the etched 2.7ml fill line.
This test is not applicable if INR>1.5. Patients should be off warfarin for 2-4 weeks before testing.
Please state any anticoagulation the patient is currently taking.
Minimum retesting interval:
Test should not be repeated within 12 weeks.
