Special instructions
Citrate sample must be received in lab within 4hours. Please note that the etched fill indicator on the plastic citrate tubes indicates the minimum acceptable blood volume required for analysis. Time limit for add on = <4 hours. Haemolysed samples should not be tested.
Interfering substances: Direct Oral Anticoagulants (DOACs)
