Clinical Application
Elevated levels of ACE activity occur in serum of patients with active sarcoidosis and occasionally in premature infants with respiratory distress syndrome, in adults with tuberculosis, Gaucher’s disease, leprosy and in many other pathologic conditions involving lung and liver disease.
