Project Overview

This project will cover urological patients who are on hormone therapy for prostate cancer. It is not applicable to any other patient type or specialties within the hospital.

Key Objectives

  1. Improve the quality of care for patients. This new pathway will reduce the burden on patients to attend clinics and reduce the short-term side effects and long-term complications from hormone therapy.
  2. This service should also result in efficiency savings over the next 10 years through reducing the amount of drugs prescribed and reducing the doctors' clinic time.
